Eric Au Sing Wai
- 歐成威先生 Mr Eric Au Sing Wai (LLB 1979, PCLL 1980) 乃法律草擬科前副法律草擬專員，鞠躬盡瘁籌謀為當時只有英文文本的香港法例擬備中文文本，惜不幸於1992年英年早逝。社會各界為表彰其對香港法律草擬發展的貢獻，成立「歐成威紀念基金」及設立獎學金。其中一項獎學金，頒予香港大學「在法律中使用中文」的課程中表現最佳的法律系學生。

Jerome Chan (1951-1997)
- Mr Jerome Chan Chun Hung (LLB 1974, PCLL 1975) was called to the Bar in 1976 and in private practice until 1985 when he joined the Judiciary as a Permanent Magistrate. He was appointed Presiding Officer, Labour Tribunal in 1987 and Judge of the District Court in 1989. In 1990 he was appointed Deputy Registrar , Supreme Court then elevated to the High Court in 1993. He had a distinguished career on the Bench. His judicial work commanded high respect and he made an enormous contribution to the development of the use of Chinese. Further, he made his mark as listing judge in which capacity he introduced significant reforms in listing procedure.

Eric Pun (1959-2018)
- Mr Eric Pun (LLB 1981, PCLL 1982) was the conductor of the Faculty of Law Choir and the Union Choir of The University of Hong Kong during his undergraduate years. As the composer and lyric writer of the song “Lyrics” (歌詞) (sung by Anthony Lun 倫永亮), Mr Pun won the Asia Pacific Original Pop Song Competition in 1986. In the same year, he directed the first musical “The Golden House” (黃金屋), being the first of its kind locally, which had won much acclaim. Another of his musical, “The Kids, the Wind and the City” (風中細路), which was first performed in the 1994 Arts Festival, won the best Original Music Award in the 4th Hong Kong Drama Awards in 1985. He continued his musical work and has produced many original compositions since then. As a lawyer, he has worked in the private sector and at the Legal Division of the Secretariat of the Legislative Council, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, and the Estate Agents Authority.
